ADVERSE WEATHER

In adverse weather the school may have to close due to the health and safety of the children and staff. 

Please remember that this includes staff being able to travel in safely to work, and us having enough staff to operate safely.  We have to make a judgement following travelling in to school, assessing the site and seeing whether it can be cleared, as well as checking that staff can make it in safely as well. Please bear this in mind when we are making our best efforts to open.

In the event that the school has to close we will notify parents via text message as soon as possible, as well as messaging on the school social media accounts and Derbyshire County Council Website (School Closure Section)
