Artsweek

At Hallam Fields we want to give children opportunities and experiences to develop their skills and enjoyment in the arts.  As a school we believe in the importance of the Arts which is why we are committed to giving children opportunities and experiences and showing commitment through ArtsMark.

As well as doing activities throughout the year, we also sometimes have special weeks, such as this year when we had an ArtsMark Week, as well as a week to celebrate Diwali through the arts.  This gives us a chance to have different artists in school working with us.  Not only did the children experience new things but the staff also put themselves out of the comfort zone with some of the activities they planned and demonstrated including things like rapping to the class!
